Chinyere A. Igbo PhD
A Professor in the Department of Vocational Education (Home Economics Unit) University of Nigeria Nsukka. She had lectured in a teachers’ college for nine years before joining the university of Nigeria in 1994.
Professor Igbo is a member of many professional associations, including, Home Economics Research Association of Nigeria, Family and Consumer Sciences Association Washington DC, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) USA, International Federation of Home Economics (IFHE), among others. She has authored three books which include The Basics of Dress Pattern Design and have Chapters in many books. She has about 40 journal articles in many reputable journals within and outside Nigeria. She is a visiting lecturer to some Universities within and outside Nigeria.
She currently lives in Nigeria with her husband and four children.
